Emerging from the warmth of our cars three friends ready to plummet into the mist and take on 23-miles end-to-end of the PMT.
During the early evening all sat inside my DuoMid where we listened to the pitty patter of light rain on silnylon as we cooked and ate supper followed by profound gear discussions…rubber bands vs scrunchies and the importance of plastic bags and the many uses…before calling it a day and Joan and Kristen retreating to their hammocks for the night.
Safely out of the woods…HUNGRY!

Looks like fun, I wanna play!
Really enjoyed the trip. Great swirling water photo. How goes the rubber band research?
rubber band research is a work in progress, many charts, graphs and measurements to do.
I did a section today, but ti was only 3.5miles close to the Old Country store.
Sounds like you did the section from the FDR visitors ctr to the store. We had lunch at the Country Store good eats.
